BOWLING GREEN, KY- Hitcents was honored at the Business & Industry Appreciation Dinner and awarded the 2011 Business Innovation Award for South Central Kentucky, among others.  This is an award for companies that exemplify innovative leadership in the industry. Rodney Rogers, Chairman of the Board commented on the event that recognized Hitcents along with other businesses saying, “This event is our opportunity to recognize the impact that targeted businesses have on our region and to show our thanks for their commitment to doing business here.”

Hitcents was among others awarded throughout multiple categories, as 23 businesses were recognized for business expansion, new business, innovation and green-to-gold awards.  The banquet included many of South Central Kentucky’s growing businesses and brought keynote speaker, Matthew S. Erskine, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development and Chief Operating Officer at the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA). Erskine commented, "Bowling Green and South Central Kentucky are great places to do business and raise a family," Erskine said. "I was honored to participate in the Bowling Green Area Chamber's celebration of the innovative business models that are strengthening the region and advancing our nation's competitiveness.”

Hitcents does business by the motto, “dream it real,” which the team has done by creating interactive and marketing solutions for customers all over the U.S. and abroad. With this success, has come the opportunity to expand, hiring 10 new employees this year. This achievement comes from success in many markets: web design, technology, hardware, and software development, marketing and branding, and strategy. Led by success stories themselves, owners Chris and Clinton Mills have also been recognized and named to the Inc. “5,000 CEOs under 30” list.
