BOWLING GREEN, KY- Hitcents has officially been awarded a 2011 Davey Gold and Silver Award for its design and creativity on the web.

The Davey Awards is an international competition that honors exceptional work and is judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts and the Davey Awards.  There were over "4000 entries from the best small firms in the world" and Hitcents was honored to be a part of this winning program. 

Hitcents was honored to win this prestigious Gold Award for its own hard work and strategic design for the animated project Draw A Stickman. This particular project won in the animation category and was part of an on-going year project to develop a completely animated web project that worked on mobile devices and without the Flash platform. It was built with usability in mind and using JavaScript as its foundation. Within days it became a viral hit receiving millions views and comments. 

Additionally, Hitcents was honored to win a Silver Award for its creative work on Montana Grille. This project won in the restaurant category for web work. This project was a redesign solution to transform a site into a creative destination for potential customers to learn about its menu offerings, gift card opportunities and tasty drinks. The site was built with a vertical functionality in mind and a clean and outdoors appeal.
