To import or not to import

In today’s society, they say gold is the most valuable commodity, but I have to disagree. Lego’s, Lincoln Logs and OmniAPI

I remember as a child playing with Lego's and having a blast. I could build and build to my heart’s desire, whatever my imagination let me dream up. Houses, cars, rocket ships and boats, just to name a few, are the technical accomplishments I achieved.

News Flash: Proper training leads to successful implementation

For most of my adult life, I’ve been involved in the training realm in some form or fashion and I have to say, it is probably one of the most important and under used tools in corporate America today. One of my favorite witticisms is “You don’t buy a fighter jet, set it on the top of an aircraft carrier and tell who ever is walking by to jump in and fly it in combat.” It’s a recipe for disaster, but that is what ha...

In Development : Omniprise Voice Picking

To meet the challenge of moving products from a warehouse floor to a packaged shipment, Omniprise has traditionally offered two solutions.

The first solution is the most basic: a picking screen where workers can see the item or product, the quantity needed for the shipment or order, and the current stock areas holding that item (and the quantities found there). The only downside is that it does require the user to...

OmnipriseCRM Ensuring Customer Relationships in 2011

The holidays are over: Everyone has gained about 10 pounds, gotten that new I-gadget, driven 1000 miles and oh yeah, it’s time to go back to work. So what’s next? Start off the New Year with a New Year’s resolution? Most people resolve to lose the 10 pounds gained over the holiday, not spend so much time on the I-gadget or to spend more time at home. While these are all great resolutions, what about making a reso...
